2. iOS update

   Please update to latest IOS. I am now going on my fifth year ! I will have to give up my morning ritual with this app for awareness practice ---I have a busy schedule and this is my major habit to mindfulness - are you even considering this request? Please let us know .. otherwise by feb 1 I will have to remove as it is really affecting the functionality of my phone- slowing it down and delays. I did remove and wow what a difference - brought it back bc I missed it as I am hopeful that you are upgrading it !! Thank you for consideration - please let us know.

6. Bring it back!

   I've been using this app for years and want to thank Cheri for everything! It's helped me get through some rough times.

   I suggested the app to a friend, but they couldn't find it in the App Store. I searched myself and couldn't find it either unless I went into my previously downloaded folder. Please bring this gem back for all to enjoy!

8. Transformed forever

   This app allows me to transform on the day my ideas and look back a year ago at the same referenced quote. Many times I will leave my same journal response from a year ago, because it is so good! Other times, I can't wait to jump right in and journal brand-new.

12. Misatributed quote

    I love your product and look forward to turning the page each morning! The quote for Feb 3rd in the iPhone app is attributed to Leonardo da Vinci. The problem is he died 250 years before it was known that diamonds were carbon based. The language doesn't sound like something heard in 15th century Italy either. :)

    To Whom It May Concern,

    I would first like to thank those of you involved with creating and maintaining the Transform Your Life App. This wonderful resource continues to bring me peace and insight throughout my day.

    I wanted to bring to your attention a lovely quote that I read yesterday afternoon (February the 2nd 2016). I am familiar with this quote, because it was actually originally spoken from my favorite author Ray Bradbury, someone whose wonderful imagination and take on the world has helped me through good times and bad. Here is the quote as presented on the Transform Your Life App yesterday:

    You've got to jump off cliffs all the time and build your wings on the way down.
    -Annie Dillard

    It seems that since 2005, this quote has been attributed to Annie Dillard despite the fact that she has, very graciously, tried to make the public aware of the mistake.

    I would love to see this quote featured on your App again with the Ray Bradbury listed as the rightful owner of these beautiful words!

    In 2005 a passage containing the saying was attributed to the Pulitzer Prize winning author Annie Dillard by an Australian newspaper in an article about taking risks. The words ascribed to Dillard were almost identical to those used by Ray Bradbury in the October 1990 interview excerpted previously in this article.     In October 2015 Annie Dillard contacted QI. She had read the quotation trace analysis given in this article, and she wished to share the following unequivocal statement: 13

    The attribution to Annie Dillard was a mistake as she has stated above.

    The History of Ray Bradbury’s Quote

    In November 1979 he reviewed a book about the National Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C., and he gave very high praise to the book and the museum: 3

    "It looks like a dream book. Then you suddenly remember it’s all real. Then the long march from the rim of the cave to the edge of the cliff where we flung ourselves off and built our wings on the way down quickens to focus. It’s all here, in a building, in a book."

    In October 1986 Bradbury spoke at a one-day symposium on ‘Future Style’ held on the campus of the University of California, Irvine, and his words were reported in the Los Angeles Times: 4

    In his keynote address, author Ray Bradbury declared that "if enough people followed their hearts, they could realize their optimistic vision of humanity’s future. Bradbury exhorted his enthusiastic listeners to “jump off the cliff and learn how to make wings on the way down.”

    Ascriptions to other authors such as Kurt Vonnegut and Annie Dillard only appeared years later and were not well substantiated. Indeed, Dillard contacted QI directly to state that she never wrote the quotation, and she never spoke it. Details are given further below.

    Here are additional selected citations in chronological order.

    In 1988 a book by a top salesman titled “Changing the Game” included a version of the saying attributed to Bradbury: 5

    Ray Bradbury, the science fiction writer, said, “First you jump off the cliff and you build your wings on the way down."

    Also in 1988 Disney and Time Inc. worked together to publish a special commemorative magazine called “Mickey Is Sixty!” Sections of this magazine were later reprinted as advertising supplements in periodicals such as Time, Life, and Fortune. Bradbury wrote an essay for the work titled “Why Disney Will Live Forever”, and he praised the executive in charge of the Imagineering division, the group responsible for designing and constructing theme park attractions at Disney: 6

    "On Walt’s behalf, he gives other young people a chance to jump off cliffs and build their wings on the way down, at Imagineering."

    In October 1990 Bradbury used the expression again in an interview distributed by the New York Times news service: 7

    “If we listened to our intellect, we’d never have a love affair. We’d never have a friendship. We’d never go in business because we’d be cynical: ‘It’s gonna go wrong.’ Or ‘She’s going to hurt me.’ Or ‘I had a couple of bad love affairs so therefore …’
    “Well, that’s nonsense. You’re going to miss life. You’ve got to jump off the cliff all the time and build your wings on the way down.”

    In November 1990 an excerpt from the interview was distributed by the Associated Press in a column called “People in the News”. The overall passage was streamlined, and the quote was modified to read “jump off cliffs” instead of “jump off the cliff”: 8

    “If we listened to our intellect, we’d never have a love affair. We’d never have a friendship. We’d never go into business, because we’d be cynical.” Bradbury said in a recent interview.
    “Well, that’s nonsense. You’ve got to jump off cliffs all the time and build your wings on the way down.”

    I wish you would identify with a sentence or two about each quote's author. For example, today's is attributed to "Ella Williams." I tried to Google her to learn more about her, but there are hundreds of Ella Williams's on Google. Just one sentence such as, "author of xyz" would be really helpful.
